Description

You can't really tell that yon far ridge is actually a bald, at least at this size. I'll make a note pointing out the shelter over there, and some of the grassland. Most of the bald areas are on the other side of the ridge, and its all being steadily taken over by the emerging treeline. The mountain was a bald either by fire or the actions of Native Americans, or both; but over the intervening centuries it is returning to its original state.
