Pure Nature - Buderim Falls
image
A hidden gem in Buderim Forrest Park, a pocket of subtropical rainforest with the meandering Buderim Mountain Creek. This shot taken after a couple days of light rain. Best times to visit are after heavy rain, unless you want a tranquil setting. Most of the track to the falls is raised boardwalk, and quite enjoyable for any fitness level.
I particularly like the splash of green from the fern palm on the top of this one.

Sunset Glow - White Cliffs
image
The awe inspiring white cliffs of the Southern Coast of England. This is one of the Seven Sisters, a group of cliffs along the coast of Seaford and Eastbourne of the South Downs in East Sussex. The sun was setting, and the orange glow turned them from white to orange.
I didn't have to wait long for the seagulls either, they were quite active and numerous here at this time of day.

Tasmanian Secret
image
These beautiful falls are not named, or signed. Was an accident that I even found them, getting lost is a wonderful way to find somewhere you havn't been.
At the base of Mount Wellington, Hobart, I'm sure someone knows where these are. I think the stream came from the mountain, snow melt or rain. Beautiful and fresh, and quite cool.
Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
Tasmanian Fresh

Found this beautiful stream on the walk up to The Marakoopa Cave, in the The Mole Creek Karst National Park, north/west Tasmania, Australia. This comes straight out of the cave, and is icy cold! Like a place, stuck in time, millions of years old.

Noosa's Hidden Secret
image
I know not many people find this beach in Noosa Heads National Park, Queensland, Australia. Every time I visit here, there is not one footprint on the beach.
The unused path that leads to this beach is hard to find, and the incline can be up to 80%, and very slippery. Sometimes sliding is the best way down :)
I can sit here for hours, it's so tranquil and unspoilt.
Noosa National Park, Noosa Heads, Queensland, Australia.
Taking a Rest
image
After 20 minutes of stalking up to this Australian Pied Cormorant (also known as Pied Shag), I finally got close enough to get this shot at 22mm. Shot taken at 3:00pm, and I'm guessing he is taking a rest after lunch.

Taken on a perfect day, right outside Alby Gård, the oldest farm on the island Jeløya in Moss.
The trees form an Avenue towards the entrance to Alby Gård. The farm is now a well known art gallery, Galleri F15.
