A major fragment of asteroid impacts the planets atmosphere, turning the atmosphere into a high pressure inferno, with a shock wave that precedes the explosion of flames. Destroying everything that stands on the surface of the planet & then incinerates it. Only things not on the surface will survive, what will they do now? Craig Wilson image The Story continues: As the sickness destroys populations, cities fall and refugees are driven by feelings of pain and guilt as much as hope. The hope that the larger capitals may have prevailed and a perceived sanctuary they may offer. In an attempt to achieve this the few surviving military personnel attempt a last attack on the closes ship, only to be destroyed as flippantly as squashing an annoying insect. An entity craft hovered over head as an alien landscape opened before me. A strange noise can be heard piercing everything around me and resonating against my chest. All at once the sound stops, leaving a heavy feeling to the air, I can still feel my chest hurting. What has happened, what will it do now?
