Day 76: You know what they say about guys with big collections... [3/7] image They're, uh... collectors... Everyone knows Nerds tend to collect things often. And while it may see like we do so because we just can't get enough of that one particular thing, but it's beyond that. Truth #3: When Nerds reach a certain age, they're forced to collect objects in one particular field of interest. They then harvest that interest and use it as their life force until they get old enough to learn to survive without it. Basically, we need it to live. Day 3 of N.E.R.D. Week has arrived. And while you see here, my wonderful collection of DVDs and video games (it's not all I have, mind you), we mustn't forget about all the other collections Nerds possess out there. Ranging from Star Wars to World of Warcraft to Magic: The Gathering, the list can go on and on. But it shouldn't be deemed unusual. A simple collection -- like teddy bears or ceramic mugs -- could be seen as obsessive, but it's not, and neither should anyone else's. Collect what you love, just as long as it's legal. Bonus points for anyone who can spot Leonard Part 6 in the pile. Minus points for knowing what the cover looks like, though.

1878-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS66 image A pristine, flashy example that emits luster and eye appeal. The obverse displays a hint of orange toning to the rims and the reverse is completely white.

1880/9-S Morgan Dollar PCGS MS63DMPL image This is my very first Deep Mirror Prooflike example that I've ever purchased. Not exactly the highest graded coin due to the hits on the cheek and the breast feathers, but still a very flashy example.

1880-S Morgan Dollar NGC MS66PL* image This is the very first Morgan that a paid a multiple of the guide price for due to its superb Prooflike appearance and breathtaking obverse toning. Another of the stars of my collection.....and was awarded a "*" by NGC as well. The reverse is mostly white with only minor toning to the rims.

1885 Morgan Dollar PCGS MS66PL image A higher grade pristine Prooflike Morgan Dollar with a pleasant shading of toning to the obverse. The reverse is blast white.

1885-O Morgan Dollar PCGS MS65PL image A pristine blast white example of a Prooflike Morgan Dollar. The cheek is relatively free of distracting contact marks with only minor chatter in the fields. Flashy eye appearance.
