This is a beautiful mountain and has always been one of my favorites to photograph. I have heard it said that there is actually a Vortex on the mountain that creates some of the most interesting cloud formations. I say the clouds do that because of the wind against the mountain. But who knows? I guess if we ask Ripley, anything could be possible, right?

I was so glad that I had my camera with me when it happened. The sun was rising and it came up right behind the mountain.
