This is the beauty of Lake Doonella in the northern Sunshine Coast. A populatiuon cap in the area helps keep this area pristine to nature. Lake Doonella is a shallow lake, and a haven for birds, including black swans, pelicans, cormorants, egrets just to name a few. The first bridge linking Tewantin to Noosaville over a narrow section of the lake was built in 1929. 81 years later, it is finally getting a rebuild. Rushing image I've really never tried to photograph a waterfall before ... This was ISO 200, f/27, 1/8 exposure. Cropped in Picassa and adjusted contrast and temp slightly. Did not use a tripod as I don't have one yet. haha. Instead I laid on my belly on the ground. Any suggestions from the pros out there for improving are appreciated. :) I want to thank everyone who commented, especially with suggestions for improving. I definitely need a tripod!
