Very picturesque, although fairly weak, supercell from 2 August 2009. Photographed from the Walmart on South Locust St in Grand Island. (Huh; when I put this next to my recent work in the photostream, the sculptures are pretty dull! I really need a soda kiln :-D )

I found this farmstead while showshoeing this afternoon. I'll post some pictures of the adjoining house when I have time. This old place is just a few miles north of Mc Laughlin, SD in Corson County.

This was taken on the afternoon of 12/24/2008. I had come to peform a baptism for two twin sisters of a Native man and woman, and then celebrate the 5 PM Christmas Eve Mass. Wakpala is very poor, and this church is one of the oldest parishes I serve.
