Victor B French. Frenches Digital Photography

I have been interested in photography since the age of 10 when my father got his first 35mm film point-and -shoot camera in the year 1970. He lost interest in it rather quickly and passed it down to me. Upon receiving it I began saving all of my weekly allowance to buy film and eventually learned to develop the pictures on my own. I was self-taught in photography until I reached high school and later Art College where I received certificate of completion in Fine Arts Studies. After getting my degree, I also continue to study tropical plumbing at the Technical Institute in Sierra Leone West Africa and Opportunities Industrialization Centre (OIC) in Accra , Ghana. I worked for several companies as a independent contractor and doing practical Arts and Craft for additional income. In March 2008, I attended the Columbia Basin College in Pasco Washington State, for digital Photography courses, which ended in June same year. There I bought my first Nikon N90S camera for film and Digital SLR D40. It has been said of photographers: “ We start by loving the camera. We end by loving the art.” This is absolutely true. Yet the serious photographer eventually moves on to a higher plane-to a fascination with the art of photography. The photograph itself becomes the main interest of the photographer. The initial fascination of the camera recedes a bit, and the photographer’s concern becomes the subtlety of the image, the meaning , the composition and the tiny changes that separate the good from the great. The is a higher ground , more difficult to master and infinitely more rewarding I am currently a student of New York Institute professional Photography and a official photographer for PhotoWorld MAGAZINE. Visit: www.nyip.com I opened up my own studio and bought the latest photography equipment.

I enjoy taking photojournalistic, portrait, and nature photographs. My photos have been featured in numerous magazines and ads in the United States and abroad.
