Kathy Nairn Photography

My name is Kathy and I live in SE Michigan.

Sometimes I integrate my photographic images with the 3D work that I create, whether it be as a background or in the form of materials overlaid on objects; and render together. You might even see my photographs hanging as portraits on a wall in my 3D room-scapes.

About 12 yrs ago, I started out with an interest in digital art using Jasc Paint Shop Pro 4.0. I am currently using Corel Paint Shop Pro X2 Ultimate, Photoshop 7.0, Vue Esprit 7.4, and Bryce 6.1 to create digital art from the bottom up or to manipulate my own photography. I use a combination of software filters and bounce between the various software programs to achieve my end product. I consider myself a visual learner and quick study.

Close up photography, portraiture, head shots and similar are my passion and learned skill in photography. You may not see an entire garden landscape (for example) in my Qoop portfolio but you will see the beauty in the portrait of a single flower or 10. ;)
