Love me for my Flaws
image
This glass was found on the window ledge of the abandoned admin building on the premises of Mount Olivet.
As Fallingwater123 and I left the building to go around the other side, I heard her whisper, "take my photo. Love me for my flaws." So I did and here she is.
She'll be Coming Around the Mountain When She Comes...

This photo was taken on the train tracks with our Urban exploration buddies last Friday night. This shot was a fifteen second exposure and I was able to capture the train before it reared it's head around the corner. I think it has an "Invasion from Mars" feeling to it.
Elegance amonst the Dead

This is one of the many statues inside Mr. Olivet. She is becoming one of my favorites. She is beautiful and her details are exquisite. I didnt have to try hard to bring her to life.
Though you cannot see her whole hand in the photo, her pinky finger is bent to brace for the weight of her tired mind and exhausted body. That type of definition in her features drew me in.
Next time, I am going to find out who created her.
Again, I have to thank Fallingwater123 for sharing this treasure with me. I feel a bit sad knowing that I cannot go to revisit her any time that I want.
